PADI ReActivate eLearning

This program provides an engaging, prescriptive refresher of basic knowledge of scuba principles and procedures. It includes a review of the skills you’ll practice with your PADI Professional. Using eLearning is easy and intuitive, and here are a few pointers to help you get started.

There are 20 main sections, each of which begins with Scenario One that portrays a realistic diving situation. The scenario helps you recall and apply what you know and want to refresh in an integrated manner – just as you might while actually diving. Therefore, most scenarios address different aspects of diving knowledge.

After each scenario, you’ll answer several questions. Read all the choices and choose the best answer from those provided.

If you answer all the questions correctly, you’ll have the choice of moving on to the next section, or reviewing the additional background information for more detail and insight.

Although you’ve remembered the critical concepts, it’s recommended that you take a moment to go through the review. It doesn’t take long, and you may be surprised how much helpful information you find, in addition to some new concepts that may have changed since you were last active in diving. You should also review the content if you answered correctly, but were unsure or simply guessed.

If you answer one or more questions incorrectly, you’re directed to review the section’s background information before continuing on.

At the end of the review, you’ll complete a Self Quiz to check your learning.

You then move on to Scenario Two, a different situation that applies the same basic principles. Answer the associated questions to complete the section.

To complete your knowledge refresher, you’ll be prompted to complete the 20 question ReActivate Quick Review. You need to score at least 75 percent to successfully complete it. Review any questions you missed to make sure you understand the information. If you score below 75 percent, you must retake the Quick Review until you get a successful score.
